Intake and Transport
First, fill out the consignment intake form. We will review your application, and contact you with next steps. Upon acceptance, we will coordinate transport of your vehicle to our facility.
Multi-Point Inspection
Once your car arrives, we perform a multipoint inspection of the car, documenting the cosmetic and mechanical condition of your car. Our inspection is performed in several phases. First, we evaluate the broader state of the vehicle. In this phase, we look at the general cosmetic and operating condition of the car. Our experienced technicians complete a brief test drive in the vehicle, then it is raised on our lift for a more thorough evaluation. As our technicians perform a physical inspection, we simultaneously research the background of the car to confirm and/or establish history, pedigree and authenticity.
Wash, Detail and Paint Correction
A full wash and detail is then completed on the vehicle before handing it off to our professional photographer for a comprehensive photo and video shoot. If necessary, a paint correction is performed so your car is shown in its best light.
Professional Photography
Our professional photographer assembles a complete gallery to showcase your vehicle, complete with exterior and interior shots, as well as detailed shots of the underside, engine bay, mechanical components and more. A video is created to display the operating features of the car (A/C, Radio, Cold Start & Idle, Driving, etc.). The final gallery also includes the capture of documentation, notable records, and miscellaneous bits included with the sale.
Pricing & Fees
Our consignment service costs nothing up front!
Just sign the agreement, bring the car to us and we'll get started. When your car sells, we'll deduct the expenses from the proceeds of the sale.
The final costs of our service is comprised of a percentage-based sales commission which includes our multi-point inspection, vehicle detailing and media production. We pay for all expenses associated with auction sites, sales platforms and other marketing activities.
Final Sale
Your car is listed on our website to gauge interest from our existing clientele before expanding our reach with high-traffic platforms like Cars.Com and AutoTrader. Depending on the level of activity surrounding the car, we begin the listing process for auction platforms like Bring a Trailer, Cars & Bids, PCarMarket and more. The auction platform is decided based on the car itself and where we believe it will perform best.
When the car sells, we handle all paperwork associated with the transaction for both the buyer and seller. We release the car and title to the buyer once funds are received. The final payout to the seller is processed immediately.
